The
Town Hall replaces the Village Centre as the centre of the settlement . It requires the technology Town Hall to be researched in the Feudal Age before it can be built. After Town Hall is researched, any new settlements created will automatically have a Town Hall instead of a Village Centre in the middle of them. Upgrading a Town Hall results in improved construction time and more Culture . It is replaced by the City Centre in the Imperial Age.
Town Halls will be used for two full ages - the Feudal Age and Renaissance Age. The maximum level for the Town Hall in the Feudal Age is 3.
