The Storehouse is a building available after the Storehouse technology has been researched. The storehouse is a type of buildings that allow the player to protect their resources from barbarian attacks. The higher the level of your storehouse, the more resources you can protect. The storehouse also increases the maximum capacity of resources in a settlement. It is available for research in the Ancient Age. This structure adds 20 population to the city it's located.

This building is later replaced by a Warehouse in the Renaissance Age.

Each storehouse stores ressources in two different ways. Firstly, it has a variable storage (which is always equal to 1000 times its level) which the player can distribute amongst the ressources as he sees fit. Secondly, it has a constant storage which the player cannot influence which adds a certain amount to the storage of every ressource at the same time.

For example, a storehouse level 3 will have 3000 variable storage space. The player decides to set it to 1000 food, 1000 wood, 1000 stone, 0 iron. However, it also has 1500 constant space for each ressource, so the total amount of storage gained from the warehouse is 2500 food, 2500 wood, 2500 stone, 1500 iron.
