Endgame is the apocalyptic phase in which the most cultivated empire creates Nanotechnology and successfully defends it from being destroyed within a 24 hour period. Players must defend their empires from the grey goo created by the successful empire to continue building with their settlements. Endgame happens when your death clock runs out of time and the grey goo engulfs your empire in which you would have to start another one. You can defend from the grey goo by using Fire storm and purchasing perks from the store to help survive the grey goo. By using Fire Storm the death clock can be set back. Only once a day can Firestorm be used. During an endgame players can see the fate of the server in the Contagion Report
