Commandos are stronger and faster versions of the Rifleman. They require Commando researched to be trained and can be improved with Assault Rifle. To be trained, commandos require an Army Fort (Building) 4, Gunsmith 7 and an Academy 7. Unlike the other variants of units, where as for example there would be an average unit, a faster but weaker unit and a stronger but slower/less defensive unit, commandos are both more powerful, defensive and faster variants of it's original counterpart (the rifleman). However training them require various higher leveled buildings, for example a level 4 army fort which is 3 levels more than the rifleman requires. They become obsolete in the Future Age.
