The Agincourt Bowmen are defensive ranged units in the Feudal Age. They are also slightly faster than Longbowmen.

While individually quick to reinforce and harder to kill for slightly less upkeep, their stats equalise on a per-upkeep bonus. They are essentially best used as a defensive militia, but can be used as a skirmisher in toe-to-toe battles or as recapturing forces (as most attacks are planned to protect ranged units, and contain slow artillery pieces); using Longbowmen is usually preferential on attacking.

They become obsolete in the Imperial Age.

In the current version of the game, they no longer require Agincourt Bowman to use, and Bowmanship likely is removed and replaced with a specialist upgrade.
